Noel Smith
Founder & Executive Director, Broadway Mentorship Project

As a master voice teacher, performer, and career coach, Noel Smith has spent over two decades guiding young artists toward sustainable, fulfilling careers in musical theater. She has coached students on Broadway, national tours, television competitions like The Voice and American Idol, and in some of the top BFA programs across the country.

After years of watching students graduate with talent, training, and dreams—but little practical guidance for navigating New York City—Noel created the Broadway Mentorship Project to fill that critical gap. Her mission is simple: to ensure that no young performer has to face their first year in the city alone.

In addition to running a thriving private voice studio in Boston and New York, Noel is an Associate Professor of Voice at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She is a proud member of the Recording Academy, a singer-songwriter, and a featured vocalist on film, TV, and video game soundtracks.
